urbancase - We do furniture...and design

urbancase was founded by darin montgomery in 2002 based on the philosophy of designing objects and spaces that contribute to a simpler, pared back lifestyle focusing on basic aesthetic elements and functionality. while we understand everything we do has an affect on our environment, we make informed decisions about the the materials and methods we use. we believe in living well with less.

darin montgomery, a self taught designer with a background in metalwork and sculpture, is the founder and lead designer for urbancase.

trey jones graduated with a bfa from the savannah college of art and design in the furniture design program. since scad, he has been part of multiple design and art exhibitions including icff and artopia. in 2006 he moved to seattle and started trey jones design.

rachel illingworth grew up in tasmania where she received a bfa from the university of tasmania. she makes her home in seattle as an internationally exhibited printmaker.
